What's up insiders? One of our recent previews was for our exciting new Wood Compet.ition Series board with foam grip and extra concave. Fingerboarders have been really stoked on these boards, and we've been psyched to see such a positive reaction. The most common request we've been getting as a response to these goes a little something like, "Awesome! Now you guys just need to make wood parks!"
You got it. Check these out:
And here's what they look like out of the package:
As you can tell from these photos, these park pieces are very high quality featuring smooth wood. The mini-ramp has metal coping, and the ramp with rail (kind of like a fun box) has a metal rail for grinding.
If you haven't fingerboarded on wood obstacles before, you definitely need to try it out. The surface provides improved smoothness and control, and the metal makes the transition tricks or grind/slide tricks that much better. I especially like how these two obstacles provide one for technical ramp riding and air tricks, and one for street tricks. So if you specialize in one you can pick that piece up, or get both to really improve all aspects of your fingerboarding skills.
Best of all? These wood parks will be available at your local retail store starting this fall with a MSRP of $29.99. Make sure to keep an eye out for them!
