The former Italian and European champions stated on their official website on Tuesday evening that Pirlo underwent a medical this morning and after successfully passing it, has agreed to commit himself to the club for the next three years.
“Andrea Pirlo is now officially a Juventus player,” read a club statement. “The club has reached an
agreement with the midfielder."
Juventus also added that the 32-year-old has already taken the necessary physical.
“The midfielder underwent tests and analyses at Fornaca di Sessant clinic, Isokinetic centre and Sports Medicine Centre in Torino,” the statement said.
Pirlo’s current contract with Italian champions AC Milan expires this summer and, as Goal.com exclusively revealed earlier this month, he was set to join Juventus.
The Italy international leaves the Milanese club after 10 years. He commenced his professional career with Brescia and also played for Inter.
